Details are scarce, but it is known that she was stricken with extremely high blood pressure and is now in a hospital intensive care unit in Louisiana. The Deals were in Louisiana presenting their work to the local churches and supporters. Please pray for Ahmie.

Something to think about
ME
A nickel, a dime, a dollar or two:
What does it mean to someone like you?
A snack or a treat or a candy bar:
It’s everyday life as we cruise in our car.
Air-conditioning and heat and the conveniences of life:
A fly or mosquito are our life’s only strife.
Houses and toys and gadgets of all kind:
We heap to ourselves until we are blind.
Blind to the lost and hurting out there:
With no one to help and no one to care.
We sit in our churches so snug and refined:
While the world goes to hell and we remain blind.
Christmas and Easter and Halloween too:
We spend all our money but still remain blue.
Can we not see the price that He paid:
Was for others who in life’s ditches have laid.
Can we pass by on the other side:
And turn a deaf ear to those who have cried.
Will we remain complacent you see:
I have decided it’s not just all about me.
But if I would look as Jesus has said:
I would give money, I would give bread.
I would arise and look on their plight:
I would fund missions and take my flight.
To carry the true Gospel to others you see:
Because I have come to realize that it’s not just
all about me.

“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?
behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for
they are white already to harvest.” (John 4:35)

New Radio Project in Honduras
For Mission Minded Individuals
WHCB 91.5 FM has been contacted by an association of Central American Churches located in Siguatepeque, Honduras, asking for help in the building of two radio stations to serve that area. One is an AM station while the other is an FM station. They have about three months to get the stations on the air to meet the government requirements. The photos are of the construction of the studio for the FM station. They need approximately $40,000 to build the FM facility and $ 60,000 to build the AM facility. They are trying to build the FM first so they will have at least one of the stations on the air spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. Contact www.whcbradio.org if you would like to contribute to this project. Or phone them at 423.878.6279, extension 235. And, please pray for God's provision for this worthy project. Thanks.

Tornado Hits Larry Spargamino Family
Word has just been received that the house and buildings on the five acres of the Larry Spargamino family in Guthrie, Oklahoma, were destroyed this afternoon by a tornado. Larry and Jennifer were in the storm cellar and were unharmed. They have lost their home, their vehicles, and all of their possessions. Larry is the Associate Pastor of the Southwest Radio Ministries in Oklahoma City. Join us in praising God for their safety and in prayer for the recovery of their property.

Tennessee Legislature Adjourns
The Tennessee State House and State Senate adjourned the first session of the 107th Legislature on Saturday night, May 21st. They adjourned 5 weeks earlier than last year's session and the earliest in years. It is estimated that they saved the taxpayers of Tennessee more than $ 450,000 by adjourning early! This is the first time since the War Between The States that Republicans have been in charge of both houses - and they have the Governor's office, too. The following is from Senator Stacey Campfield's blog - www.lastcar.blogspot.com - and is included for your edification.

Happy Mothers' Day
To all the Mothers, we wish you a wonderful and happy Mothers' Day!
"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."
