Tennessee Legislature Adjourns

The Tennessee State House and State Senate adjourned the first session of the 107th Legislature on Saturday night, May 21st. They adjourned 5 weeks earlier than last year's session and the earliest in years. It is estimated that they saved the taxpayers of Tennessee more than $ 450,000 by adjourning early! This is the first time since the War Between The States that Republicans have been in charge of both houses - and they have the Governor's office, too. The following is from Senator Stacey Campfield's blog - www.lastcar.blogspot.com - and is included for your edification.

That wasn't "Contract with America"
